Moving Water Weekend
You should all have recived the email from Martin regarding this weekend.
If you have not done your next of kin form this need to be done asap!!!
I am sure many of you will be packing tonight, as I am.
The kit list is as follows:
You will need to bring the following equipment with you:
Dry suit
Thermal under-layer(s)
Buoyancy Aid (with chest harness)
Throwline
Wet boots (for in water)
Helmet
Neoprene Gloves (recommended)
Flask
Towel
Sleeping bag/pillow
Wash kit
Sufficient changes of clothes for when off water.
It is probably also worth brining with you some snacks to have with you in your buoyancy aid.
There is not much rain forecast over the next 48 hours but I am sure we we will find some “moving water”! Wrap up warm as it looks like it will be cold. Remember layers are good!
